                            Launch of Webex Suite meeting platform

 Webex Meeting", currently in use at JAIST, will be migrated to "Webex Suite Meeting

Platform" after Thursday, March 14, 2024. This migration will be carried out by Cisco,

the provider of Webex.
The user interface of the Webex application will also be changed after the migration to "Webex Suite Meeting Platform". Please refer to the following Cisco page to learn more

about the "Webex Suite Meeting Platform".

   Scheduled date of migration : Thursday, March 14
  
   Major areas of impact : Typical changes are as follows.
    1. elimination of the menu bar in the upper left corner of the screen.
    2. guest participants are displayed as "Unconfirmed" next to their name
        in the "Participants".
    3. elimination of [Share My Meeting Window] .
    4. support for saving chats to the cloud.
    5. discontinue [Polling][Q&A] and integrate into Slido.
    6. mandatory installation of Webex App on iOS/iPadOS/Android devices.
